Proper carpet cleaning involves a thorough understanding of the proper procedures to follow in order to achieve the best results:

Dry Soil Extraction
Better known as vacuuming, this all important step is the most omitted by careless cleaners.  Over 50% of the "dirt" in dirty carpet is known as "dry soil", and can be effectively removed using a professional quality vacuum.  If the dry soil is not extracted from the carpet prior to cleaning, then you get what you always get when you add water to dirt.....mud!

Proper Pre-Spray
We use a professional quality pre-spray application to begin to loosen and emulsify the remaining soil in your carpet.  The type of pre-spray is carefully selecting depending on your particular carpet type.

Professional Hot Water Extraction
At Healthy Clean, we use the hot water extraction method of carpet cleaning for most carpets.  This method involves spraying a very hot detergent solution onto the carpet at high pressure.  This high pressure spray is very effective at dissolving soils that are "attached" to your carpet fibers.  The dissolved soil is suspended in the detergent solution, and is then extracted from the carpet a moment later by high volume vacuum. 

Professional Spotting Techniques
Sometimes, a stubborn spot remains after cleaning.  Not to worry, our professional technician is not about to give up yet!  We have a wide array of spotting products at our disposal, specially formulated to remove the most stubborn soils; things like gum, tar, candle wax, and other problem soils.

Carpet Rinsing
Another important step often overlooked by hurried cleaners is applying a proper rinse to the carpet after cleaning.  Our specially formulated rinses are designed to restore the proper pH to your carpet, making it soft to the touch!

Finishing
Finally, We finish your carpet by brushing and fluffing it to restore it as close to its "brand new" condition as possible.  The result: Beautiful, "Squeaky Clean" carpet you can be proud of!
